Students should wear school uniforms

Do you feel embarrass when your classmates wear school uniform while you’re not?

Now, I will talk to you about why students should wear school uniforms. There are 3 reasons to allow students to wear school uniforms. First, I will tell you why school uniforms make students feel they are a part of group. Second, I will show you why school uniforms make the school safe and secure. And finally, I will show you what school uniforms benefit students. At the end of the speech, you will be allowed to ask questions, so please feel free to raise your questions, and I will kindly answer it.

Students may feel they are out of group because of their clothes are different and are not good brands like the others, so firstly, I will tell you why school uniforms make the students feel they are a part of group.

Using school uniforms helps equalizing students because those who come from poorer families and cannot afford expensive and fashionable clothes will not feel comfortable among their peers. Also, when they feel they are a part of group, they won’t embarrass each other to wearing old clothes, so they feel they are belonging together. If a school adopts a uniform, everyone will know which student studies in which school because of that uniform, hence students cannot skip school for entertaining or doing other things besides study. Therefore, school uniforms helps much in making students being a part of group.

After our point 1 - students feel they are a part of group, now I will show you the point 2 why school uniforms make the school safe and secure.

Students may have problems together because they mock each other by embarrassing the kinds of clothes, so a uniform can solve this problem from fighting to being belong together and can prevent peers problems. Without the uniforms the school guards will not be able to recognize the students from outsiders at all, for example, Norton University guards won’t allow the strangers to go inside the campus if they do not wear the school uniform or no permission from the school, thus wearing uniform helps much to measure the safety to ensure that the school is secured. Wearing school uniform is like providing the students the identity, so the gangs cannot ask students to join their groups by wearing their groups’ colors at all, so it prevents students to become the gangs’ groups. Hence, schools will safer and more secure when the schools uniforms are adopted to use.

School uniforms are not only make students feel they are a part of group and not only make the schools safe and secure, but also help to benefit students and families. So, now let’s go on to our last point is what benefit students when the schools adopt using the school uniforms.

Studying in a school which requires school uniforms, students do not have to wear 6 or 7 clothes per week; they just alternately wear 2 to 3 clothes per week, so it helps poor students saving money for their families. Furthermore, when school uniforms are not required by the schools, it will affect to their students because it wastes time for students in choosing whether which cloth to wear for which day, so school uniforms helps saving time for students. Since students do not have to care about choosing clothes, they have enough time to think of their homework and assignments, so their study will be better and better. Therefore, school uniforms benefit much to students who studying in schools which use school uniforms.

Today, we have discussed 3 reasons why we should use school uniforms: being a part of group of students, making the school safe and secure, and benefiting students money, time and study. I strongly recommend that each school should adopt using school uniforms because school uniforms allow students to worry less about their appearance and concentrate more on their schoolwork.
