There is no place like home

                In the 21th century, every country in the world is trying to decorate the attractive places or tourist sites to attract local people and people throughout the world to visit. When people visit there, they truly feel happy and excited; however, the happy face and the excited feeling do not cause them to live there forever because it is not their home. The reason is just because it is not their home, so there is a doubtful question asked “Why is there no place like home?”

There is no place like home
The first reason is that home is where there are people we love, family.  Staying home, we have family to support us both physical and mental. Moreover, family is the only person or persons who care of us every time, especially when we are sick or have accident. Family give us warm no matter what situation we are in or what problem we are facing. Therefore, wherever there is family live with us, it is called home.

The second reason is home is the place we have the sense of belonging. A house where we live in and feel any of material and equipment belong to us is called home. Furthermore, when we feel the house we are dwelling in belong to us, it is also called home. Home is the place where we feel we belong, so it is family who we feel we belong together. Hence, when we feel the sense of belonging in a place we are living in, it is no doubt to be called home.

The third reason is home is the place we actually have the emotional attachment. We sometimes move to many places for working or travelling, but those places do not attach us to live in because we do not feel it is the constant living for us. Additionally, home is the only one place that we feel it is comfortable to live and do anything we want. Moreover, when we stay far away from home for a while, we always miss it and want to come back immediately. So, people living in a place called home, they, with no doubt, actually have the emotional attachment on it.

The final reason is home is our native land. A place or country in which our ancestors lived, we really have the emotion to continue living there for the next generation. Moreover, our native land is the only one place that we feel we are a cell of society. Native land that is our home benefits us in communicating in our own language and the same nation. Therefore, native land is our home that we have to live in.

In conclusion, the reason why there is no place like home is home is where our family live with, home is where we have sense of belonging, home is where we have emotional attachment, and home is our native land. Live for life, live for family, and live for nation, so there is no place like home.

The Bad Effect of Flood

Written by: MARY Meng So far, water covers 70% of the earth’s surface such as oceans, seas, rivers, and lakes, etc. The large amounts of water can cause flooding that the volume of water, such as a river or lake , overflows or breaks levees, so that some of the water escapes its normal boundaries. As a result, people and environment have always been caused problems by flooding. So, flood makes bad effect to communication systems, people’s living, people’s health and lives, and country’s economy. Flood in Cambodia Firstly, flood can seriously obstruct communication systems. The fast flowing flood can cut off the roads or even can break down the bridges, hence the traffic need to be delayed, or detouring roads are needed even in a long distance.
